Giving Back With Ballroom Dance Clubs of Atlanta

An important part of what sets Ballroom Dance Clubs of Atlanta apart from other dance studios in the area is our focus on giving back to students and the community. We believe that dance is a beautiful and communicative art through which we can spread the word of hope and courage.

With the popularity of ballroom dancing increasing we are honored to be able to serve our community by performing and raising funds for deserving organizations. Our list of outreach organizations includes the John’s Creek Symphony Orchestra, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Childrens’ Healthcare of Atlanta, the Salvation Army, and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Offering our ballroom dancing as a way to draw attention to these great organizations, we have participated in the Annual Wine and Roses Gala benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Georgia Chapter and even partnered with the Metro Atlanta Region of the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter for Dancing Stars of Atlanta to raise over $225,000 for Alzheimer’s research.

Charity Events

Each year we are proud to give back to one of our local Georgia charities. Recent recipients include 2015 Pop Goes the Showcase charity showcase that benefited The Wounded Warrior Project and TV Land that benefited the Lupus Foundation. This year we are excited to announce:

Legends & Icons Charity Event, October 23rd 2016

If you haven’t already heard Ballroom Dance Clubs of Atlanta is excited to announce our Legends & Icons Showcase event to support Samaritan’s Purse International relief. Join us Saturday, October 23rd at 3:00 P.M. at our Duluth Ballroom Dance Club studio!

Proceeds from this event will be given to Samaritan’s Purse International relief to benefit those affected by the recent flooding in New Orleans and others in need around the world.

Our Legends & Icons will feature some of your favorite songs from this era and performances from our staff and students from both our Metro Atlanta and Duluth locations. We’ve got fun solo routines planned as well as excited group productions with the entire cast!
